Tyler is originally from Ann Arbor, MI, and moved to Chicago for law school. He currently lives in Logan Square with his wife, and he likes hanging out with friends, listening to music, and watching sports.

Role at Community Tax
Tyler Butt has worked at Community Tax since February 2017, where he excels as a Senior Practitioner. He manages a team of other tax practitioners as well as a team of support staff, guiding clients through the tax resolution process. Tyler is passionate about helping taxpayers settle their issues with the IRS and always seeks to assist new clients.
Tyler received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in Indiana before going on to receive a law degree from John Marshall Law School where he focused on banking, corporate, finance, and securities law, as well as real estate and tax law. Prior to his time as a Senior Tax Practitioner for Community Tax, he worked as a law clerk and as a loan specialist.
