Role at Community Tax
Theresa Daniel works at Community Tax as the Manager of Resolutions. In this role, she helps clients with tax resolution by providing tax analysis, conducting investigations regarding the client’s IRS record, and creating proposals to send to the IRS or state taxation agency to resolve the issue. As a Tax Practitioner, Theresa represents both individual taxpayers and business owners of all sizes to ensure they receive the best resolution possible.
Theresa started her journey to where she is today after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Upon graduating, she enrolled in Ohio Northern University’s College of Law in Ada, Ohio. During her time in law school, she worked for the Public Defender’s Office and represented numerous clients during bench trials. Theresa also spent time working for a private practitioner and representing clients during jury trials.
After Theresa graduated law school, she was a litigation attorney working at the Denver District Attorney’s Office representing the city and people of Denver. In this role, she litigated a variety of jury trials and bench trials. After a few years, Theresa decided to follow a niche in the tax industry and became licensed to practice law in Colorado, which brought her to where she is today — a part of the Community Tax team. She was recently listed as Who’s Who Among Lawyers in America, recognizing her as one of the top professionals in her field.
