While he was in law school, Matt worked as a student clinician for Michigan State College of Law’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. His work has helped provide medical treatment for many taxpayers who couldn’t afford health insurance.

Role at Community Tax
Matt DiRaimondo is a Co-Founder of Community Tax and currently oversees the company as a Partner. Matt has an extensive background in helping taxpayers resolve conflicts with tax authorities, and he used that experience to help create a company that provides a wealth of tax relief services for individuals and businesses across the country. He’s passionate about helping taxpayers reach the best possible resolution, and he remains dedicated to ensuring that all Community Tax clients enjoy first-rate customer service.
Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. He then graduated with honors from the Michigan State College of Law. After law school, he obtained an LLM in Taxation from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Matt moved to Chicago after law school and worked at a consumer bankruptcy firm, where he represented taxpayers before the IRS and state taxing authorities. By co-founding Community Tax, he achieved his goal of being able to develop tax resolutions for an even larger number of taxpayers.
