Role at Community Tax
As a Tax Practitioner at Community Tax, Han is responsible for determining which tax-related issues clients are facing and coming up with the best resolution possible for each case. Once a plan is devised, Han is tasked with presenting his findings in a case review. He’s also a certified Enrolled Agent which allows him to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service nationwide.
Han’s career began after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He has a passion for lifelong learning that prompted him to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Arts in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
After graduating with multiple degrees, Han went on to work as a fund accountant and operation specialist at a private financial institution. He’s also prepared financial statements for non-profit organizations, gained experience as a sales representative, and worked as a tax preparer. Han came to the Community Tax team with over four years of experience in Fund Accounting, including account reconciliation, variance analysis, and cash and expense process.
