Daniel Urban Esq., LL.M., is the director of the Tax Preparation Department at Community Tax. Daniel earned his B.A. in history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated with honors from the Michigan State College of Law. Daniel also earned the distinction of a master of laws in taxation degree (LL.M.) from the Northwestern University School of Law. Daniel obtained his start in the tax controversy field as a student clinician at a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. He joined Community Tax in 2011 to continue pursuing his passion for representing clients before the IRS. Since joining Community Tax Daniel has represented hundreds of clients before the IRS, state taxing authorities, and the US Tax Court. He has personally negotiated over $11 Million in tax savings for his clients. Daniel currently oversees the tax preparation department at Community Tax and ensures timely and accurate returns for our wide clientele base.
